Advance Digital Systems (ADS) was engaged to deliver a robust Video Intercom & Doorbell solution, using Axis, Hikvision, Dahua and TP-Link products to provide clear video calling, secure visitor access, and reliable site connectivity. The scope focused on easy-to-use entry control, remote answering via mobile devices, and scalable infrastructure to support apartments, offices, and multi-entry sites.

Challenge

The project required a secure, easy-to-use video intercom and doorbell solution that worked reliably across multiple entry points and user groups. Key challenges included achieving clear audio/video in varied lighting and weather conditions, ensuring dependable network connectivity to support remote answering, and integrating with existing door hardware (electric strikes, maglocks, gates) and access control where required. The system also needed strong security and privacy controls, straightforward user management, and scalability for future expansion.

Our Solution

ADS began with a site walkthrough and consultation to confirm entry points, user requirements, and the preferred workflow (resident/tenant calling, reception routing, after-hours handling, and remote access). We then designed and installed a Video Intercom & Doorbell system using Axis communications, Hikvision, Dahua and TP-Link solutions to match the site’s layout and connectivity.

To ensure consistent performance, we provided reliable network connectivity, configured secure remote answering, and integrated the intercoms with door/gate hardware for controlled entry. We also set up user management, permissions, and notifications, then tested audio/video quality, call routing, and unlock actions end-to-end—delivering a system that’s simple to use now and scalable for future expansion.
